Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

“Pit bull,” brindle and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/dog aggression (scored 4/4 on Aug. 20), surrendered by Diane Chandler, Nebraska Avenue, Toledo.

“Pit bull” mix, tan and white female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/body handling (scored 3/5 on Aug. 20), surrendered by Diane Chandler, Nebraska Avenue, Toledo.

Bulldog, brown and black male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (elderly, severely ill), surrendered by Rubbie Hardeman, Burwell Drive, Toledo.

Chow chow/German shepherd mix, orange male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/body handling (scored 5/5 on Aug. 21), East Delaware Avenue, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Labrador retriever, tan and brown female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/body handling (scored 5/5 on Aug. 21), Broadway Street, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

“Pit bull” mix, brown and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/dog aggression (scored 4/4 on Aug. 21), Slater Street, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

Pointer mix, white and black male, surrendered by Kenneth Johnson, Elm Street, Toledo.

“Pit bull,” white male, Walbridge Avenue, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Parson Russell terrier mix, white and orange male, Parkside Boulevard, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

“Pit bull” mix, white and black female, Chase Street, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

English bulldog mix, white and brown female, surrendered by Carie Johnson, Strathmoor Avenue, Toledo.
