    Dogs adopted

    Dogs adopted out Nov. 16 under the direction of Richard Stewart, director of the Lucas County Canine Care & Control:

    Breed and description; intake type and date with location found if stray:

    “Pit bull,” white and brown female; stray picked up Sept. 26 by a control officer at 632 Spring St., Toledo.

    “Pit bull”/​Doberman pinscher mix, orange and white female; stray picked up Oct. 18 by a control officer at 732 S. Byrne Rd., Toledo.

    “Pit bull” mix, white and tan female; stray taken to shelter Oct. 29 by Deborah Curylo, Grainfield Drive, Sylvania, from Central Avenue and Centennial Road, Sylvania Township.

    Dog killed Nov. 16 under the direction of Richard Stewart, director of the Lucas County Canine Care & Control:

    Breed and description; reason; intake type and date with location found if stray. Dogs killed for poor behavior on body-handling and resource-guarding assessments are scored on a scale of 5, with higher scores being more aggressive. Dog-aggression assessments are not scored:

    Labrador retriever, black male, unlicensed; owner requested euthanasia (12 years old, arthritic, can’t stand at length, back legs give out); surrendered Nov. 16 by Annette Walker, North Lockwood Avenue, Toledo.
