    Breed and description; reason; intake type and date with location found if stray. Dogs killed for poor behavior on body-handling and resource-guarding assessments are scored on a scale of 5, with higher scores being more aggressive. Dog-aggression assessments are not scored:

    German shepherd/”pit bull” mix, tan male, unlicensed; veterinarian recommended euthanasia/​quality of life (mass in abdomen, jaundiced, anemic, abdomen later distended with fluid, aspiration showed large amount of blood, worsening condition, no transfer partner able to take); stray taken to shelter Oct. 7 by Kelsey Ferguson, Page Street, Toledo, from Page Street, Toledo.

    Boxer/”pit bull” mix, tan and white male, unlicensed; aggressive/​unsafe; stray taken to shelter Oct. 28 by Amber Lough, Crosspath Road, Springfield Township, from Seaman Road, Oregon.

    American bulldog mix, tan and white male, unlicensed; tried to bite veterinary staff; stray picked up Nov. 3 by a control officer at 4035 Vermaas Ave., Toledo.

    “Pit bull,” brown and white female, unlicensed; veterinarian recommended euthanasia/​quality of life (vision impaired, deaf, chronic end-stage inflammation in ears, arthritis, stiff and weak, mass in abdomen, will not tolerate handling of head for treatment, poor prognosis); stray taken to shelter Nov. 22 by Ayesha Waller, Selma Street, Toledo, from Pickle Road, Oregon.

    Great Dane, white and black female, unlicensed; owner requested euthanasia (ill, unable to walk); surrendered Nov. 29 by Edna Taylor, Nebraska Avenue, Toledo.
