The city is holding two sign-ups for children ages 5 to 14 who want to play tee ball, baseball, or softball next year.
Sign-ups will be held 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday and Nov. 20 at the Josie Reinhart Community Center, 6000 Wales Rd., Northwood.
People also can register their children from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Nov. 14 through Nov. 18 at the municipal offices, and adults can sign up to be umpires or coaches.
"Nonreturnable copies of birth certificates [of those] who did not register in the 2011 ball program are required" when parents sign them up, the city said in a news release.
The cost per child is $30 with a maximum fee of $45 for two or more children.
Parents who meet the income requirements can get the fees waived if they qualify and put it in writing.
