Portage River bike tour set for June 24

ELMORE -- Registrations are available for the 37th annual Portage River Tour, a one-day bicycle ride offering routes of 10, 31, 62, and 100 miles through northwest Ohio.

The event, which is sponsored in cooperation with the Elmore Historical Society and Hostelling International, is scheduled for June 24.

All routes are to begin at Woodmore High School.

Costs for participants who register before June 19 are $20 for adults, $10 for children ages 13 to 17, and $5 for children 6 to 12.
