Oregon city council sets 2 public hearings

Oregon City Council has scheduled a special meeting July 25 at 8 p.m. for two public hearings.

The first is on a request by Verizon Wireless for a special-use permit to install a tower on property leased from the city at 7150 Cedar Point Rd. The other is on a request for a zoning change for property at 812 Mambrino Rd. The owner, Vera Magee, requests a change from C-2 general commercial to R-2 medium-density residential.
