2 newcomers join Oregon school’s board

Oregon’s Kateri Catholic Schools system has two new board members: Doug Dippman and Julie Payeff.

Mr. Dippman, 38, was elected representative for St. Thomas Aquinas. He is an educator who has spent most of his professional life in public schools.

Ms. Payeff was elected representative for Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School. She is a 1987 graduate of Stritch and has three children at Stritch and Kateri.

The board also elected Rick Niehaus as its president.

In other Kateri business, two bus routes will added to transport students whose residential school district does not offer transportation.
