Chief financial officer to retire at La-Z-Boy

MONROE - With revenues struggling for each of its three quarters this fiscal year, and with profits slumping for the past two quarters, La-Z-Boy Inc. said yesterday its chief financial officer will retire once the company reports its yearly financials, in about two months.

The firm said David Risley, 61, is retiring after five years at the firm and is to be replaced by Louis "Mike" Riccio Jr. Mr. Riccio, 43, joined the firm in 2000.

The furniture maker gave no indication of problems with Mr. Risley.
