Toledo port honored for increase in traffic

WASHINGTON — Toledo was one of eight Great Lakes Seaway System ports honored for registering increases in international cargo tonnage shipped through their ports in 2012.

The others were Green Bay, Wis.; Indiana-Burns Harbor; Milwaukee; Duluth, Minn.; Cleveland-Cuyahoga County; Oswego, N.Y.; and Ogdensburg, N.Y. The eight will receive the Robert J. Lewis Pacesetter Award from the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corp.
