The percentage of metro Toledo mortgages that are delinquent by 90 days or more decreased in February to 5.79 percent from 5.90 percent in January, according to data released Friday by CoreLogic, a California real estate data firm. The rate was also down from February a year ago, when it was 6.45 percent.
For Ohio, the 90-plus day delinquency rate was 6.33 percent in February, down from 6.93 percent a year earlier.
CoreLogic said overall foreclosure activity in the Toledo area decreased. The data firm said that 2.71 percent of metro area homes were in some stage of foreclosure in February, down 2.82 percent in January.
