CLEVELAND — Cleveland’s convention and visitors bureau is launching an effort to improve the city’s image and make it easier for people to navigate streets to find attractions. Officials say the Seamless Cleveland campaign aims to improve the perception of the city and increase tourism.

David Gilbert, president of Positively Cleveland, the area’s tourism bureau, tells the (Cleveland) Plain Dealer the project wants to maximize recent investments such as the city’s casino and convention center. Last month the bureau announced a program to train cab drivers, bartenders, concierges, waiters, and others who interact with travelers to become better ambassadors.
