■ The Holland Springfield Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2014 officers: Connie Koch of HR Systems Inc., chairman; John Naayers of Naayers & Associates, vice chairman; Maggie Hall of Barrsap LLP, treasurer, and Arlene Gerig of Re/​Max Preferred Associates, past chairman.

■ Erik Dunbar has been named director of construction operations for Toledo-based Dunbar Mechanical. He will oversee day-to-day operations, technology implementation, and quality control procedures for this ISO 9001:2008 certified firm.

■ John Chapman, international safety representative for UAW/​GM Powertrain, has been elected chairman of the board of the Safety Council of Northwest Ohio, a nonprofit, nongovernmental, community based safety resource located in Northwood. Other board officers are Andrew Pawuk, first vice-chairman; Edwin Skinner, Jr., second vice-chairman, and Aaron Cooper, treasurer. Sandra Rabie is past chairman.

■ These individuals have been elected to the board of directors of the Safety Council of Northwest Ohio: Toledo Police Chief William Moton, Donald Dietrich of Huntington Bank, Joseph Matthews of Principle Business Enterprises, James Yates of Eastman & Smith Ltd., and Laurie Holmes of First Energy Nuclear Operating Co. ■ Brad Deventhal has been promoted to business development manager at Walbridge-based Rudolph/​Libbe Inc. He had been an account manager.
