ACHIEVEMENTS

■ Tom Manahan has been promoted to senior vice president of Turner Construction Co. He is general manager of the Turner Industrial Group nationwide and Turner’s Ohio region. He leads the office of the Lathrop Co., Turner’s subsidiary in the Toledo area, which he joined in 1984.

■ Jill S. Hartmann, a native of Maumee, has been promoted to second vice president, marketing communications and training, at Cincinnati-based Ohio National Financial Services. She joined Ohio National in 1998.

■ John Lechman has been named director of development for Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was director of development for the Immaculate Heart of Mary Sisters’ schools and care center in Monroe, and Mercy Children’s Hospital/​Children’s Miracle Network of Northwest Ohio.

■ Adam Sharp, vice president of public policy for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, will speak on the status of the current farm bill and other topics related to Ohio farmers for the upcoming growing season at the Northwest Ohio Ag-Business Breakfast Forum. The forum, from 8-9:30 a.m. on Thursday, is hosted by the Center for Innovative Food Technology at the Agricultural Incubator Foundation, 13737 Middleton Pike, near Bowling Green.
