ACHIEVEMENTS

■ Margaret M. Murray, a partner in the Sandusky law firm of Murray & Murray, received the Amicus Curiae award from the Ohio Association for Justice. The nonprofit organization presents the award to a person who undertakes a central role in the group’s mission of representing the rights of consumers and injured plaintiffs to ensure that equal access to justice through the courts is available to all under Ohio law.

■ Randy Phipps has been named executive creative director at Maumee’s Hart, northwest Ohio’s largest integrated marketing communications agency. He previously worked at Hart from 1998-2006.

■ First Federal Bank recently announced promotions. In the Maumee office, Joel Schlageter was promoted to assistant vice president. In Findlay, JJ Preston was promoted to vice president for commercial banking. In Bowling Green, Dan Murphy was promoted to assistant vice president, retail lender.

■ Ag Credit, ACA of Fostoria finished eighth in the small/​medium company category of the 2014 Best Employers in Ohio, createdby the Ohio SHRM State Council and Best Companies Group.

■ Christine Kilman, vice president of account service with Gelia, was recently elected to the board of directors for World Wide Partners Inc., a full-service agency network providing innovative services, supplemental resources, and real-time collaborations to more than 80 independent agencies around the world.
