Memo to: The Aryan Nations.

Stay away. Ohio doesn't want your new national headquarters. This country has enough foreign terrorists to deal with. We don't need the home-grown variety, especially anti-Semites and white supremacists. Especially in Ohio.

We're writing because we understand that Harold Ray Redfeairn, whom you picked as leader after you were unceremoniously rousted out of Idaho, is looking for a dark cave in the Dayton area to set up shop.

Forget about it.

Your Mr. Redfeairn already has a track record for trouble in our fair state. He and a guy named Kale Kelly were found to be organizing an armed uprising against the federal government in our Warren County back in 1999. Kelly became a resident here, but only because he's in prison here for the next four years or so.

As for Redfeairn, well, he ran a supposedly fundamentalist church in our Clinton County about five years back. Looks like he's the same kin to Christianity as Osama bin Laden is to Islam.

It's hard to believe you guys got the boot from, of all places, Idaho. Nice state, but you neo-Nazis and militia types seem to congregate there. Something in the water? Anyway, that's what you get for sending out those ex-cons masquerading as “security guards” to shoot at and terrorize those folks in the Coeur d'Alene area in 1998. You gave them all the legal ammunition they needed to get a $6.3 million court judgment which, we understand, bankrupted your group and forced you to look for a new place to hide out.

But, take it from us, Ohio isn't your kind of place. The Buckeye state isn't entirely a stronghold for liberals and ACLU types, but there are plenty of good, moral people here and we don't like what you stand for.

Stay away.
