University of Findlay elevates academic official

FINDLAY - The University of Findlay has named Daniel J. May as vice president of academic affairs, effective today.

Dr. May, who has been with the university since 1991, most recently served as dean of the College of Sciences, which includes equestrian studies and environmental management programs.

Dr. May, who was named a full professor of geology in 2001, replaces John F. Cindric, Jr., who is returning to a full-time teaching position in the College of Education.
