Tontogany: Otsego schools seek input on school design

5/12/2004

The Otsego Local School District is forming committees of staff members and area residents to give input on the design of new school facilities.

A 6.2-mill bond issue passed by voters in March will generate $18.4 million to fund construction of a new high school and renovations of three elementary school buildings.

Students and faculty have already met with architects about ideas for school construction, and the committees will meet with architects throughout the design process, Superintendent Joe Long said.

Mr. Long said the school board expects to see preliminary designs for the construction project in July.
