Stacy is recipient of the Bausch and Lomb Honorary Science Award; was recognized for her outstanding achievement in English by the Lucas County Educational Service Center; and has her art work displayed at the 2003 Focus Show. She placed first in Jeopardy at the University of Toledo's Foreign Language Day Competition in German and German grammar.

Stacy is a member of the Christian Fellowship Youth Group, and helps serve dinner at the Toledo Christian Rescue Mission.

"Due to her intellectual prowess, academic curiosity, and superior work ethic, Stacy welcomes every challenge presented to her," said Jolene Roberts, science department chairman. "She is truly an admirable individual, the best of the best, and a teacher's dream."

Stacy is the daughter of Robert and Cynthia Hoenig.
