3/30/2005

Brian Dilley, a senior from Maumee, plans to obtain his electrician journeyman's card and start his own electrical business. He enjoys mathematics and construction electricity lab and carries a 4.0 grade point average.

Brian is president and former treasurer of the Maumee High School marching band; is SkillsUSA class president for construction electricity at Penta; and is a former member of the Penta Career Center honors award level I program and the Band Directors of America Honor Band. He is a member of the Maumee High School National Honor Society and marching and concert bands.

Brian volunteers for the Wood County Humane Society and Habitat for Humanity.

"Brian is always willing to go beyond what is required," said math instructor Marge Morrison. "He investigates and questions his results, which is the mark of a true scholar. He is a role model of selflessness when it comes to helping others. Brian is a bright and courteous young man; it has been a pleasure to be his teacher."

Brian is the son of Jay Dilley of Delta and Starla Eisenmann of Maumee.
