Student of the Week: Shannon Rawski

Shannon Rawski, a senior from Toledo, plans to attend Bowling Green State University, majoring in interior design with a minor in drama. She enjoys art, biology and English and carries a 3.9 grade point average.

She has been recognized in Who's Who Among American High School Students, received academic achievement awards in art, honors English, honors chemistry, political science and U.S. history, and has maintained first honors for the last three years.

Shannon is a writing lab tutor, team leader for the math lab, senior buddy mentor, cheerleading clinic instructor, Mass musician and lector, and hospital volunteer. She is a member of the National Honor Society, choir/chorale/women's chorus, art club, drama club and spiritual life committee. She is involved in cross-country and volunteers as a greeter, tour guide and performer at the eighth-grade visitation.

Shannon is the daughter of Greg and Sharon Rawski.
