Forums scheduled on Perrysburg school levy

Perrysburg school officials are holding nine community forums in the next two weeks to discuss the renewal of the district s permanent improvement levy.

On Nov. 8, residents will vote on the five-year levy, which funds building maintenance and improvements, for the fifth time since 1985.

The 1.99-mill levy would cost the owner of a $200,000 house $116.38 a year.

The forums are scheduled for:

• Frank Elementary library, 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Oct 25.

• Woodland Elementary cafeteria, 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Oct. 27.

• Junior High School library, 10 a.m. Oct. 29

• Toth Elementary cafeteria, 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Nov. 1.

• Fort Meigs Elementary library, 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Nov. 3.

Northwood school board changes meeting date

To accommodate several board members schedules, the Northwood Local Board of Education has changed the date of its regularly scheduled meeting.

Instead of meeting Wednesday, the board will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the administration building, 600 Lemoyne Rd.
