CLYDE, Ohio - The Clyde-Green Springs School District approved a resolution of necessity yesterday as the first step toward placing its 2.5-mill, five-year tax issue back on the Aug. 8 ballot.
The issue, which would have raised $539,000 a year, apparently was defeated by a single vote this month. The levy request must be filed with the Sandusky County Board of Elections by May 25 for the special election.
The elections board meets today to certify the primary election and count eight provisional ballots cast May 2. Seneca County certified its results Monday with no change in the school issue.
