WOODVILLE The Woodmore Board of Education recently agreed to a 1.75 percent pay raise for the district s classified staff under a contract wage reopener.
At its Monday night meeting, board members approved the increase retroactive to July 1 for the 38 members of the Ohio Association of Public School Employees.
OAPSE employees include the district s bus drivers, cafeteria workers, secretaries, and aides.
If voters pass the five-year, 4-mill replacement levy that the school board placed on the Nov. 7 ballot, the classified staff will get an additional 1.2 percent pay increase beginning Jan. 8.
