Glenwood Elementary groundbreaking today
6/1/2007Toledo Public Schools will break ground at 10:30 a.m. today for the Glenwood Elementary School.
District leaders and local elected officials will participate in the ceremony.
The event at 2860 Glenwood Ave. will be the 11th ground- breaking for a new elementary school under the district s building construction program, which is 77 percent funded by the state of Ohio.
The new building is projected to house 409 students in grades kindergarten through five, and will cost $6.6 million.
