DAYTON - The Wright State University board of trustees yesterday approved a doctor of nursing practice program, which will be offered jointly with the University of Toledo.
The program will begin after it is reviewed and approved by the Ohio Board of Regents. It is believed to be the first practice-oriented nursing doctoral program in Ohio, Wright State officials said.
The program will be offered online for registered nurses who are master's-prepared and certified in advanced nursing practice. The program will use faculty from both universities.
