Rossford board OKs teacher retirements, contracts
3/26/2013The Rossford Board of Education has accepted the retirement resignations of Karen Burns, second-grade teacher at Glenwood Elementary School, and Marcia George, intervention specialist at the junior high, effective May 31.
The board also approved supplemental contracts for Scott Gauthier, assistant softball coach, for $3,847; Linda Sankovich, drama piano accompaniment, for $1,154, and Karen Kinsey, drama choreographer, $1,154.
The board also approved an agreement with Collaborative-TMP for master-planning services, with fees not to exceed $62,200, and a $25 per hour stipend to teachers working through the Educational Service Center of Lake Erie on the Student Learning Objective project. The paid time is not to exceed 15 hours.
