BGSU hires V.P. to lead university advancement


BOWLING GREEN — A man who was a vice president of universities in Ohio and Michigan has been named vice president for university advancement at Bowling Green State University.

Shea McGrew, who starts July 1, also will be president and chief executive of the BGSU Foundation. He will be paid $240,000 a year.

Mr. McGrew is a vice president for advancement at Michigan Technological University. Before joining Michigan Tech in 2004, he was a vice president of university relations at Capital University in Columbus. He has a bachelor’s degree from Marietta College and a master’s degree from Ohio State University.
