Judy Watson, a second-grade teacher at Douglas Road Elementary School, reports that her class has been in communication with the White House.

She said that after each of her students wrote a letter to President Obama, the class received an envelope from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. containing an “autographed” photo of the President, a letter thanking the children for their correspondences, a photo of Bo, the First Family’s dog, and a schedule of the President’s day.

“Of course, the students and I were extremely excited,” Ms. Watson said.
