Monroe superintendent finalists to attend public forums

The public is invited to the Monroe Public Schools Administration Building at 2 p.m. today and Tuesday to meet the two finalists for the superintendent’s position.

Scott Snyder will visit the building today and Barry Martin on Tuesday. Mr. Snyder is executive director of facilities and operations for Ypsilanti Public Schools and Mr. Martin is director of state and federal programs in the Monroe district.

Because of the candidates’ interview schedule, Tuesday’s board of education meeting will be moved back 30 minutes to 7:30 p.m.
