Naming panel will have a mixture of members
6/4/2013The yet-to-be-selected panel charged with reviewing and making recommendations on the naming of new Rossford Schools facilities will be composed of two administrators, a board of education member, and three to five community members.
The Rossford School Naming Committee also will be responsible for coming up with a fair process for evaluating proposals, recommend to the district treasurer the related expenditures, and make recommendations to the board. It is expected to meet every month. Community members on the committee must live in the school district. For more information, contact the board office at 419-666-2010.
The district’s Memorial Way will be accepting nominations for people to be honored with a memorial tree from Feb. 1, 2014, through March 31. The committee will meet in April to make a decision. To obtain a nomination form, call the board office or visit the district’s Web site, rossfordschools.org.
