Oregon, Tiffin schools get Ohio EPA grant

A Lucas County school district was one of four that recently received a grant from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency to install pollution control equipment in buses.

Oregon City Schools were awarded $22,358 to install emission control systems on 14 buses, the EPA announced Monday. Tiffin City Schools were awarded $13,164 to install the controls on eight buses.

Buckeye Central Local School District in Crawford County received $17,558 to install the equipment, and Huber Heights City Schools in Montgomery County received $98,152 to install on 48 buses.
