Oregon superintendent hopefuls to meet public at forum

The Oregon Board of Education invites district residents to meet the finalists for the superintendent’s position at 7 p.m. today in the Clay High School media center.

The finalists, Deborah Piotrowski and Lonny Rivera, will introduce themselves and answer questions.

Ms. Piotrowski is superintendent at Xenia Community Schools; Mr. Rivera is principal at Wayne Trail Elementary School in Maumee. The next superintendent will replace Michael Zalar, who is to become superintendent of North Olmsted City Schools near Cleveland.
