Lakota Local Schools hire superintendent

KANSAS, Ohio — Lakota Local Schools has hired a superintendent, who starts Aug. 1.

Jon Detwiler, a Clyde-Green Springs Schools middle school principal, has a three-year contract and will make $92,000 a year. The Lakota school board made the hiring decision Monday in a special board meeting.

Mr. Detwiler replaces Superintendent David Danhoff, who is leaving for a position as chief of staff/ transformation officer with Sandusky City Schools.
