For the second straight year, a Chronicle of Higher Education survey has named Siena Heights University one of the best colleges in the country to work for.

The survey results, released this month, were in the Chronicle’s sixth annual report on the “Academic Workplace.” The survey covered more than 44,000 employees at 300 colleges and universities.

Ninety-seven of the institutions achieved the designation “Great College to Work For,” Siena Heights among them, based on their practices and policies.

In a statement, SHU President Sister Peg Albert said her university was honored. “We will continue to live our mission of being more competent, purposeful, and ethical.”
