Monroe County Community College tech center formally opens today
8/26/2013Monroe County Community College will formally open its Career Technology Center at 10 a.m. today at the main campus, 1555 S. Raisinville Rd.
The $17-million, 60,000-square-foot facility will hold state-of-the-art classrooms and labs to train students in technological jobs.
At 1 p.m., a ribbon-cutting is to be held for the new Enrico Fermi Atomic Power Plant (Fermi 1) Exhibit at the center.
