The Woodmore Board of Education has changed the time and location of its board meeting Tuesday to 6 p.m. in the Woodmore Elementary School conference room. The meeting will be followed at 6:30 by a State of the Schools public forum in the elementary auditorium, then at 7 p.m. by an informational meeting on the ALICE program for school safety.
The district also is seeking student volunteers to try out a free practice demonstration of the ACT and SAT examinations. If there is enough interest, the Academic Boosters will buy the preparatory test program for a year. The demonstration tests can be found at methodtestprep.com. The user name is woodmorestudent. The demonstration period ends Oct. 1. Students who try it should text their opinions to Mary Gregory at 419-512-0056.
