Andrew Notario, a Monroe High senior, has been recognized by the Monroe County Anti-Bullying Task Force for his efforts, example, and leadership to prevent bullying at the high school, Monroe County Probate Judge Frank Arnold said.

Judge Arnold, task force co-chairman, said the teen was nominated by four instructors “who singled him out as a person of character who has promoted acceptance, respect, and inclusion of students,” while being a student leader.

The task force’s next meeting is 4 p.m. Thursday at the Monroe County Intermediate School District, 1101 S. Raisinville Rd.
