Monroe County Community College has launched a monthly TV show, Education Matters.

It can be seen on Monroe Public Access Cable Television and via streaming video on demand at mpact.pegcentral.com.

The show, hosted by MCCC President Kojo Quartey, deals with a variety of education-related topics.

It runs four times a week on MPACT, on channels 21 and 916 on Comcast and Channel 95 on Charter Cable. The times are Mondays, 6:30 p.m.; Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m. and 9 p.m., and Saturdays, noon.

The November episode features Mr. Quartey; an interview with Parmeshwar “Peter” Coomar, dean of MCCC’s applied science and engineering technology division, and footage of the college’s career technology center.

December’s show includes a chat with Donald Spencer, superintendent of the Monroe County Intermediate School District.
