The Whitehouse Library children’s party will be from 11 a.m. to noon June 7. There will be crafts and stories with a Father’s Day theme. There also will be an official recognition of the summer reading programs. Refreshments will be provided. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The summer reading program for preschool children through sixth graders begins June 1 and runs through July 31. Registration can be done at the library. The teen reading program runs through the same dates. Both programs offer the opportunity to win prizes.

The Booknuts discussion group will meet at 1 p.m. at Papoo’s Coney Island to discuss next year’s program. All are invited. For more information, call the library at 419-877-9088.
