Terra State promotes leader

FREMONT — Terra State Community College has promoted Cory Stine to vice president for institutional advancement and executive director of the Terra College Foundation. He replaces Lisa Williams.

Mr. Stine, a Tiffin native who lives in Port Clinton, had been dean of enrollment services for about nine months.

“Dr. Stine has considerable experience in building relationships among many constituents that the college serves in his various roles with admissions and enrollment services at Terra State, Owens Community College, and the University of Toledo over the last 17 years,” Terra president Jerome Webster said in a statement. “He has an excellent knowledge of the service area, and is very capable of embracing the responsibilities of this position.”

Mr. Stine was assistant director of enrollment services at Terra from 2000 to 2008.

He then became director of admissions and dean of student development at Owens Community College before a year as interim director of adult, transfer, and military admission at the University of Toledo.

In addition to Terra’s foundation and institutional advancement, he will continue to oversee enrollment work.
