The University of Toledo College of Law plans to offer a certificate program in compliance beginning this fall.

Recently approved by the American Bar Association, the part-time program is intended to help professionals in health care, education, human resources, and other fields stay current and compliant with evolving laws and regulations.

The program, which may be completed in about 10 months with both online and in-person classes, offers specialized certificates in health-care compliance, higher education compliance, and general compliance.

Each certificate program may be incorporated into the law school’s master of studies in law and juris doctor programs.
