Ohio EPA hearing will explain refinery change

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency will hold a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to explain the draft permit it has issued for a BP-Husky refinery modification that will enable the facility to process heavy crude oil, including shale oil.

The change will not increase the refinery’s capacity or significantly raise the emissions of any conventional pollutant.
