COLUMBUS — There’s more good news at the pump for Ohio motorists planning a road trip for the Fourth of July holiday. Gas prices are down again.

The state average for a gallon of regular gas was $3.30 in today's survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express. That’s down 20 cents from the same time last week, and is 44 cents lower than two weeks ago.

The Ohio price is well below the national average of $3.49, which is 8 cents lower than the national average a week ago.

The Ohio price today was 33 cents lower than a month ago, when prices were rising because of refinery problems in the Great Lakes region.
