Description: The Alzheimer’s Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter invites the community to attend, “Dementia and the Family: Solutions and Joy for the Journey,” with Dr. Peter V. Rabins, MD, MPH, author of The 36-Hour Day: A Family Guide to Caring for People Who Have Alzheimer Disease, Related Dementias, and Memory Loss on Thursday, March 20, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn French Quarter, Depot Conference Center in Perrysburg.

This free program will explore the journey of dementia, with particular emphasis on family dynamics, practical solutions, and finding moments of joy along the way.

“The 36-Hour Day is one of the definitive guides for people caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia,” noted Salli Bollin, Executive Director of the Alzheimer’s Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter. “We are thrilled to bring Dr. Rabins back to Northwest Ohio to speak about finding joy in one’s journey of dementia.”
