Category: Music

Venue: Woodland Park Shelter area
Location: Perrysburg
Address: 201 East Boundary
Perrysburg, OH

Description: The fourth and final concert in the Wednesday at Woodland Series will be a memorable one when Tammy and Dan Acoustic Duo perform. The two musicians have been referred to as the "dynamic duo". The duo is fairly new to the area music scene they began working together in 2011. Prior to that they honed their skills in separate music careers. Together they challenge themselves and each other to perform songs that only select vocal skills can handle and deliver a unique lively mix of cover tunes and original songs that range from classic rock, soft rock, country and blues.

Tammy has been a private vocalist for many years performing for private and select events as well as performing as a guest vocalist for local musicians. She is best known for her powerful, rich bluesy vocal delivery that listeners compare to Janis Joplin and Melissa Etheridge. Dan has been a guitarist, singer and songwriter for more than 30 years. He worked for five years as a back-up musician in Nashville with bands that toured throughout the South and Midwest. Dan also worked as a session musician on song demos and commercial jingle recordings. Tammy and Don will perform mostly cover songs. They cover genres ranging from Rock (Janis Joplin, Melissa Etheridge, Rolling Stones, CCR, Doobie Brothers, Bob Seger, The Beatles, The Eagles, and many more) to Country ( Pistol Annies, Gretchen Wilson, Little Big Town, Dusty Springfield, Pasty Cline) and a few originals by local songwriters. A unique mix of songs from classic rock, soft rock, country, blues, old, current and much more
