Description: ProMedica offers a free mammogram clinic to provide breast cancer screenings for individuals between the ages of 40 – 64 who have no insurance or insurance with a high deductible for mammograms and have not had a mammogram within the last 24 months. Participants may be eligible regardless of age, history of breast cancer, history of breast abnormalities discovered independently or by a healthcare provider, or immediate family history of breast cancer. The free mammogram clinic is provided to Monroe County residents through grant funding from Susan G. Komen Northwest Ohio. Appointments are required. Call 734-240-4234.

Debra Barnes Miss America 1968 (Pianist, professor, church/music ministry)

Dorothy Benham Miss America 1977 (Classical vocalist and opera with many symphonies/orchestras, Broadway)

Kellye Cash Miss America 1987 (Gospel & jazz vocalist, musical actress, pianist and niece of Johnny Cash)

2. “The Huron Playhouse” Ohio's oldest continuing summer theatre
3. “Life of Significance Scholarship” for graduating seniors who have shown
commitment to Sandusky High School, their church and community
4. “Beverlie Buck Mayer Music Scholarship” for college juniors or seniors who
will inspire students by becoming performance music majors, music teachers,
choir and/or orchestra directors
5. and other programs/scholarships that need to be funded.”
