Description: “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” the improvisationally hilarious musical from composer William Finn, will be playing at the Maumee High School Performing Arts Center July 20-21, 27-28 at 8:00 pm and July 22 and 29 at 2:30 pm. Directed by Amelia and Jared Lefevre, with music direction by Todd Schreiber and choreography by Cassandra Cardenas, the second production of Second Stages Toledo Theatre Co. boasts a cast featuring Matthew D. Bowland, Eli Brickey, David Johnson, Maria Portaro, Hayley Reynolds, Liz Romey, Tyler Simms, Casey Toney, Caitlyn Marie Varwig...and perhaps you, if you’re lucky enough to be chosen to compete in the bee.
