The Center for Innovative Food Technology is sponsoring its Third Annual Food Product Development contest to showcase local foods and recipes ready for product development.
Contestants submit a form outlining their recipe and food industry experts judge it on the viability of the product, commercialization potential, business strategy, marketability, and overall appeal in the marketplace. In July finalists will be invited to present their concept and food product to the judges. The winner will receive technical and business development assistance in marketing the product.
