Restaurant owner honored

Ezekiel Villa, 80, center, is greeted by friends, family, and community members as he arrives for the official unveiling of signage declaring the intersection of South Avenue and Spencer Street to be Ezekiel Villa Corner. Prior to Saturday’s event, Mr. Villa, the owner of El Tipico Restaurant in South Toledo, was honored at a Nov. 26 Toledo City Council meeting for service to the community and for operating his restaurant for 45 years.
