Kristine Hoffman of the Girls Scouts accepts a check for her organization from general chairman Jim Poure yesterday as the Jamie Farr Kroger Classic distributed $300,000 to 10 local charities.
Checks for $50,000 went to Camp Courageous, Inc.; Girl Scouts of Maumee Valley Council; Harbor Behavioral Healthcare; Kobacker Psychoeducational Center at MCO; and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Checks for $10,000 went to Big Brother Big Sisters; Diabetes Youth Program; Juvenile Diabetes Foundation; Sunshine Foundation; and Toledo Day Nursery.
